The new rock musical F#%king Up Everything, starring Max Crumm and Katherine Cozumel, opens at off-Broadway's Elektra Theatre on March 24. The musical is directed and choreographed by Jen Wineman.
The musical, with music and lyrics by David Eric Davis and a book by Davis and Sam Forman, takes place in Brooklyn’s indie music scene and turns the classic boy-meets-girl love story on its head. When hipsters aren’t true to who they are, they screw up everything. Especially love. And no one screws up more than children’s puppeteer Christian Mohammed Schwartzelberg (Crumm) when he meets singer-songwriter Juliana (Cozumel), the girl of his dreams. F#%king Up Everything also features George Salazar, Jason Gotay, Dawn Cantwell, Lisa Birnbaum and Douglas Widick.
F#%king Up Everything features set design by Deb O, costume design by Melissa Trn, lights by Joel E. Silver and orchestrations and music supervision by Matt Hinkley.
