Broadway.com took a trip to New 42nd Street Studios on March 14 to meet the gifted team behind the world premiere of Colm Tóibín's religious drama The Testament of Mary. Tony nominee Fiona Shaw stars in the solo show, derived from Tóibín’s acclaimed novel of the same name, which was published last fall. Directed by Tony nominee Deborah Warner, The Testament of Mary tells the story of the mother of Jesus in the city of Ephesus as she is guarded and protected after the crucifixion of her son. Click below to meet the company, then get tickets to see The Testament of Mary, beginning March 26 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
