Tony winners Lea Salonga and John Lloyd Young will soon return to the Cafe Carlyle as part of the legendary cabaret venue’s spring/summer season. Salonga will play a three-week engagement beginning May 21 through June 8.
Lloyd Young will head back to the Carlyle for one week with an encore performance of his solo concert, which ran at the venue earlier this year. The Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner will perform songs from his album My Turn, as well as other classic songs from the '60s era. His show runs June 25 through 29.
The Carlyle season will kick off with the John Pizzarelli Quartet with special guest Bucky Pizzarelli running April 9 through 20. Next up, Paul Williams will play April 23 through May 4, followed by vocalist Steve Tyrell performing May 7 through 18. Rosanna Sportiello will play a two-week engagement from June 11 through 22.
On Monday nights through June 17, director/musician Woody Allen will be in residence at the Carlyle with the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band.
