Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner and SAG nominee Aaron Tveit has wowed legions of fans in large Broadway houses and on the big screen, and now he’ll get closer than ever with an intimate new solo show at 54 Below. Tveit will play the popular nightspot May 3, 11, 17 and 18, according to his rep. Tickets are not on sale yet, but Broadway.com will be sure to let you know the moment they become available.
For his 54 Below debut, Tveit will perform popular standards, some of his personal favorites and a slew songs from his previous stage credits.
Tveit made his Broadway debut as Link Larkin in the Tony-winning musical Hairspray. He then went on to co-star as Fiyero in the blockbuster musical Wicked before making a huge breakout (and winning a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award) as Gabe in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal. Tveit then headlined the Main Stem musical Catch Me If You Can as Frank Abagnale Jr. He most recently appeared on the big screen as Enjolras in the film adaptation of Les Miserables. His additional credits include TV’s Gossip Girl, the movie Howl and the Hollywood Bowl production of Rent. Tveit’s next big gig is starring in the original USA Network series Graceland.
Fingers crossed, Aaron will bust out a little "Runaway with Me" at 54 Below. Until then, check it below.
