The late Nora Ephron, whose new play Lucky Guy bowed on Broadway earlier this week, will be the subject of a documentary at HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ephron’s son Jacob Bernstein will co-produce and direct the documentary (titled Everything is Copy) celebrating his writer/director mother, whose film resume includes classics like When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle. Ephron passed away in 2012 from pneumonia brought on by acute myeloid leukemia; she was 71.
The doc is billed as “an intimate portrait” of Ephron and will be co-directed by Nick Hooker, with Matt Parker, Carly Hugo and Vanity Fair suit Graydon Carter attached to produce.
