Aaron Tveit’s string of sold-out 54 Below concerts this May will be preserved on a live solo album, recorded by Broadway Records. Tveit begins his cabaret debut on May 3 and will perform six shows through May 18.
The Radio In My Head: Live At 54 Below will mark Tveit’s debut solo album, following in the footsteps of other live albums at 54 Below by stars like Patti LuPone, Norbert Leo Butz, Christiane Noll and Andrea McArdle.
The album will combine Broadway, pop, “childhood favorites and contemporary sounds,” according to album details. The album will be available digitally and in stores on September 10, but you can place your pre-orders on Amazon.
"I hope people can just come in, and have a great time listening to some great music," Tveit told Broadway.com about his concert, which he promised would include fan-favorite songs including "I'm Alive" from Next to Normal and "Goodbye" from Catch Me If You Can.
Tveit appeared as Enjolras in the blockbuster film adaptation of Les Miserables. His Broadway credits include starring in Catch Me If You Can, Next to Normal, Wicked and Hairspray. He'll also appear on USA's upcoming summer series Graceland.
