Nominations for the 62nd annual Outer Critics Circle Awards were announced on April 22, with the revival of Pippin leading the group with 11 nominations. New musicals Kinky Boots and Chaplin received nine and eight nominations, respectively. Winners of the Outer Critics Circle Awards will be announced on May 13, with the annual awards ceremony to follow at Sardi’s Restaurant on May 23. The Outer Critics Circle is an organization of writers and commentators covering New York theater for various out-of-town media outlets. A full list of nominations follows:
