Disco Frenzy! Here Lies Love Celebrates a Sparkling Opening Night at the Public Theater

There’s something mesmerizing going on at the Public Theater, and it’s got at least one giant disco ball! The show is Here Lies Love, an immersive theatrical experience that opened on April 23 to rave reviews. Ruthie Ann Miles stars in the David Byrne-Fatboy Slim musical about the rise and fall of Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos, who gets the full disco-club treatment from director Alex Timbers and a first-rate creative design team. At the show’s buzzy opening night, Miles celebrated the happy occasion with co-stars Jose Llana, Conrad Ricamora and the rest of the cast, who bring nonstop energy to the adrenaline-fueled show.
