The Vineyard Theatre announced that it will welcome back original cast members from How I Learned to Drive and The Dying Gaul, including Tony winner Mary-Louise Parker, Tony nominee Linda Emond and David Morse, for two special reunion events this summer. Mark Brokaw, who staged each of the plays when they premiered at the Vineyard, will helm the reunion readings.
Emond, Hopper, Cotter Smith and Robert Emmet Lunney will read Craig Lucas' 1998 play The Dying Gaul on June 24. Parker, Morse, Johanna Day, Kerry O’Malley and Michael Showalter will reunite for a reading of Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1997 dark comedy How I Learned to Drive on July 1.
Vineyard Theatre's newest production Somewhere Fun by Jenny Schwartz, directed by Anne Kauffman and starring Kate Mulgrew and Kathleen Chalfant, begins previews on May 15, with an official opening night set for June 4.
