For its 20th anniversary, David Drake has re-imagined his powerful play The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me from a solo show to one featuring several performers. In a special one-night-only performance, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me will feature a star-studded cast of out gay actors, including Drake, Rory O'Malley, Robin De Jesús, Claybourne Elder, Anthony Rapp, Wesley Taylor, BD Wong and more. In the clip below, Drake and O'Malley talk about why the play is geared toward twenty-somethings, how they hope audiences will respond and why the show's message is still relevant. Check out The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me on May 20 at the Gerard W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College.
