Hollywood's biggest stars are flocking to Radio City Music Hall! Tony-nominated Lucky Guy headliner Tom Hanks, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof alum Scarlett Johansson, The Trip to Bountiful star Cuba Gooding Jr.,and more celebs will take the stage to present at the 2013 Tony Awards on June 9. Hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, the ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from New York City.
In addition to Hanks and Johansson, the evening will feature appearances by The Revisionist writer/star Jesse Eisenberg, Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer and Raising Hope star and three-time Tony nominee Martha Plimpton. More presenters will be announced shortly.
Hanks is making his Broadway debut in Lucky Guy. He won Academy Awards for his performances in Forrest Gump and Philadelphia. His many additional film roles include Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile, The Da Vinci Code and the Toy Story movies. Johansson won a Tony Award for her 2010 Broadway debut in A View from the Bridge. Her film credits include The Avengers, Lost In Translation and The Prestige. Gooding earned an Oscar for his portrayal of Rod Tidwell in Jerry Maguire. He is making his Broadway debut in The Trip to Bountiful.
Eisenberg garnered an Oscar nomination for The Social Network. His additional film credits include Zombieland and Adventureland. Cryer appeared in Brighton Beach Memoirs and Torch Song Trilogy on Broadway. He currently serves as a producer for Ann. Plimpton earned Tony nominations for Top Girls, The Coasts of Utopia and Pal Joey. Her additional Broadway credits include Cymbeline, Sixteen Wounded and Shining City. Plimpton’s father Keith Carradine is nominated for a 2013 Tony Award for his performance in Hands on a Hardbody.
