The 2013 Tony Awards ceremony is getting more star power by the minute! Star Trek Into Darkness headliner (and soon-to-be Broadway star) Zachary Quinto and Tony nominee Anna Kendrick are set to present at the awards, joining previously announced stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hanks and more. Hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, the ceremony will be broadcast live June 9 on CBS from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
Quinto, Kendrick, Gyllenhall and Hanks join a bevy of stars already on tap to present, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof alum Scarlett Johansson, The Trip to Bountiful’s Cuba Gooding Jr., The Revisionist writer/star Jesse Eisenberg, Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer and three-time Tony nominee Martha Plimpton.
Quinto will star in the forthcoming Broadway production of The Glass Menagerie beginning September 5. In addition to the Star Trek films, his screen credits include American Horror Story, Heroes, Margin Call, 24 and What’s Your Number.
Kendrick garnered a Tony nomination for High Society, her Broadway debut. Her film and TV credits include Pitch Perfect, 50/50, End of Watch, Drinking Buddies, The Company You Keep and Up in the Air, for which she earned an Oscar nomination.
