Broadway veteran and rising screen star Cheyenne Jackson has yet another major project in the works: his solo album, which will officially be titled I’m Blue, Skies and which will hit stores on June 25.
Out Magazine reported the news from Jackson himself, who said, “After a year-and-a-half of writing dozens and dozens of songs and collaborating with some amazing talent, I finally whittled 'em down to a collection of songs that I feel really captures who I am, and happens to be a great summer album. Truly, my only hope is that people connect with my lyrics, my melodies, and really hear my heart in the music.”
The album is Jackson’s first full-length solo endeavor, and will include twelve songs that honor Jackson’s Broadway roots. He released the EP Drive last summer. Songwriter SIA co-wrote three songs with Jackson, including “Don’t Look at Me,” which will be available for digital download on June 14.
