Buyer & Cellar’s Michael Urie Toasted by Nick Jonas, Vanessa Williams and the Luckiest People in the World

What a night for Michael Urie! On June 24, the talented actor opened his acclaimed one-man show Buyer & Cellar at the Barrow Street Theatre, where it bowed after finishing a sold-out premiere run at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. The solo comedy—about a struggling actor who works in the basement of megastar Barbra Streisand—was written by Jonathan Tolins and directed by Stephen Brackett. As the play celebrated its second opening night, Urie was joined by a slew of friends and former co-stars, including Ugly Betty alum Vanessa Williams and How to Succeed’s Nick Jonas.
