First a Tony, now a Sardi’s portrait! Veteran stage actor Courtney B. Vance—who earned his first Tony Award this past June for his scene-stealing turn in Lucky Guy—received yet another amazing honor on July 2 when the folks at iconic NYC eatery Sardi’s unveiled a caricature of Vance to join the other star portraits hanging along the restaurant’s famed walls. Joined by his wife Angela Bassett (who has her own Sardi’s likeness) and family members, Vance celebrated the momentous honor alongside Lucky Guy director George C. Wolfe and other members of the show’s tight-knit cast. Though Lucky Guy closes up shop on Broadway on July 3, Vance’s colorful portrait will live on forever on the walls of Sardi’s!
