Sing for me! Broadway favorite and 2013 Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Sierra Boggess will make her cabaret debut at 54 Below this summer. The Phantom of the Opera and Little Mermaid alum will perform her first-ever solo show at the New York City nightspot on August 19 and 26.
Boggess’ new concert will feature a range of tunes by both current and classic songwriters. No official title or set list has been announced, but we’ve got our fingers crossed for “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” from Phantom and “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid!
Boggess made her Broadway debut in The Little Mermaid before returning to Broadway in Master Class. She has appeared in both the Las Vegas and Broadway productions of The Phantom of the Opera, as well as the musical’s sequel, Love Never Dies. She starred alongside her fiance, Tam Mutu, in Les Miserables in the West End. In June, Boggess toured Japan with Phantom star Ramin Karimloo, Lea Salonga and Yu Shirota in their concert series 4 Stars: One World of Broadway Musicals.
