Glee star Cory Monteith has been found dead in a hotel in Vancouver, Canada, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 31.
Early reports emerged from Vancouver citing an unnamed Hollywood star who had been found dead at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel on July 13. Vancouver police later held a press conference confirming that Monteith was found at noon in the hotel, when the hotel staff arrived to check on him after he missed his expected checkout time. No cause of death was given, but police have ruled out foul play.
Monteith had voluntarily checked into rehab in March 2013 for substance addiction. The actor has frequently been open about his history with substance abuse.
Monteith rose to stardom with his breakout role as jock-turned-show choir member Finn Hudson on FOX's phenom series Glee. He has starred on the show since its premiere in 2009, and has been in a real-life relationship with his frequent onscreen romantic partner Lea Michele.
