Two-time Tony winner and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Sutton Foster returned to the New York stage on July 17 as the title character in Violet, a musical set in the deep south about a physically scarred young white woman and her unlikely relationship with a young black solider. Tony nominee Joshua Henry co-starred as the solider Flick and supporting cast included Broadway favorites Christopher Sieber, Keala Settle, Van Hughes, Chris Sullivan and more. Directed by Leigh Silverman, the one-night-only musical staging sold out New York City Encores, and after the performance, the company gathered for a post-show reception. Broadway.com photographer Jenny Anderson joined the festivities where she captured Foster, Henry and more. Check out the party coverage below.
