The eagerly awaited revival cast recording of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years will be available for digital download and in stores on September 24. Released through Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records, the new recording features Bullets Over Broadway star Betsy Wolfe as Cathy and Adam Kantor as Jamie.
Directed and composed by Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years tells the story of Jamie (Kantor) and Cathy (Wolfe), two twenty-something New Yorkers who fall in love—and out of it again—over the course of five years.
The Second Stage Theatre revival of The Last Five Years ran from March 7 through May 18, 2013, including three extensions. The 2002 original cast album, featuring Sherie Rene Scott and Norbert Leo Butz, launched Sh-K-Boom and remains one of the label's best-selling albums.
The Last Five Years includes the songs “Still Hurting,” “Shiksa Goddess,” “A Miracle Would Happen,” “A Summer in Ohio,” “I Can Do Better Than That” and “Goodbye Until Tomorrow.”
