Zachary Levi, Krysta Rodriguez and the First Date Ensemble Hit the Studio to Record Their Cast Album

It’s cast album recording day for the Broadway ensemble of the new musical comedy First Date! The talented group of actors made their way into the recording studio on August 12 to lay down tracks for the show’s original cast album, which will preserve the hilarious music and lyrics by First Date’s first-rate composers Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary. Led by Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez, the fetching cast (which features Sara Chase, Kristoffer Cusick, Blake Hammond, Kate Loprest and Bryce Ryness) wasted no time in bringing their kooky characters and killer vocals to the sound booth. We absolutely can’t wait to hear First Date’s cast recording—but until then, we’ll head back to see the raucous rom-com on the stage at the Longacre Theatre.
