The Public Theater’s 2013 Shakespeare in the Park season is almost at a close, but not without one more glamorous opening night under the stars! A slew of Broadway favorites showed up at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park to enjoy director Alex Timbers’ latest imaginative offering, a musical adaptation of the Bard’s comedy Love’s Labour’s Lost. Led by Patti Murin, Colin Donnell, Daniel Breaker, Maria Thayer and Bryce Pinkham, the dazzling musical brought out the laughs (and occasional tears) from the packed house at the outdoor theater. After the show, the cast and creators dressed to the nines and hit the after-party to celebrate another successful opening for the beloved Shakespeare in the Park series (which also included The Comedy of Errors earlier this summer).
