Waiting For Godot and No Man’s Land star Patrick Stewart said “make it so” on September 8, when he married his girlfriend, jazz singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell in a private ceremony, according to The Telegraph. His pal and co-star, Ian McKellen, was on hand to officiate the wedding, and hopefully he wore this adorable t-shirt.
No additional details of the wedding ceremony have been announced, but Stewart confirmed his marriage on Twitter, writing simply, “Yes, married.” The couple, who recently moved to Brooklyn, posted a wacky video on YouTube in August where Stewart gives Ozell a master class on how to do a “quadruple take.” We wonder if Stewart put his quadruple-taking skills to the test when he saw Ozell walk down the aisle!
Stewart and McKellen will hit Broadway together this fall in Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land and Samuel Beckett’s Waiting For Godot, beginning performances and playing in repertory October 26 at the Cort Theatre.
