Moviegoers can catch Abigail Breslin as the rebellious, smart-tongued Jean Fordham in the film version of Tracy Letts' Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning August: Osage County this winter, but on September 12, Breslin checked out Broadway's Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark. The 17-year-old Oscar nominee (Little Miss Sunshine) and Broadway alum (The Miracle Worker) was lucky enough to catch one of original Spider-Man star Reeve Carney's last performances as Peter Parker and the titular web-slinging crusader, before he exits the show on September 15. After the evening performance, Breslin and her pal headed backstage at the Foxwoods Theatre to congratulate Carney on his long run with the show and snap some photos with the Broadway rock star.
