Orlando Bloom is making his Broadway debut opposite Condola Rashad in a contemporary revival of Romeo and Juliet. The film star dropped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on September 17 to discuss why he decided to take on Shakespeare’s tragedy, which his mother equated to "climbing Mount Everest without an oxygen tank." Bloom also dished about wanting his Elizabethtown director Cameron Crowe to write the theme song of his life and why Peter Jackson asked him to "get the blond wig and bow and arrow going again" for Legolas in the upcoming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Check out the interview below, and don’t miss Bloom in Romeo and Juliet, opening September 19 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
