Weekend Poll Top Three: Fans Are Spellbound By Anna Kendrick’s Cinderella in Into the Woods

Over the weekend, we asked readers to tell us which actor they were most excited to see perform in Disney’s forthcoming Into the Woods film. With casting complete and production underway for this magical romp through the forest, we can’t imagine singling out just one star. So, we let you make all the hard choices for us—read on for your top three! (Needless to say, we have every confidence that all the performers are going to be top-notch, including Milky White.)

1. Anna Kendrick as Cinderella — 25%
Anna Kendrick seems to be everywhere these days, from Pitch Perfect to the upcoming The Last Five Years flick, so it’s no wonder that fans are clamoring to see her slip on Cinderella’s gown (and either one, both, or none of her shoes). We’re dying to see this dazzler let loose on the steps of the palace.

2. Meryl Streep as The Witch — 22%
The divine Meryl Streep can do no wrong, and there’s no doubt that she’ll deliver a Witch’s Rap for the ages when she channels the iconic role made famous by Bernadette Peters. To see Streep on screen is magic; to see her on screen using magic is an overload of hocus pocus that we can’t even fathom.

3. Lilla Crawford as Little Red — 9%
Broadway’s Annie was the last cast member to sign on to the movie, but leapin’ lizards, of course she was one of your top picks in the poll! It looks like Simply Red is simply a good look for this rising star.
