Rehearsals for the off-Broadway premiere of Amanda Peet's new dramedy The Commons of Pensacola are now in session, and the cast of Manhattan Theatre Club's production came together on September 25 to meet the press. Directed by Lynne Meadow, the play centers on Judith (Blythe Danner), a woman who's been divested of her assets and forced to leave her luxurious New York life after her husband’s Wall Street scam becomes headline news. Everyone’s motives are called into question when Judith's daughter Becca (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Becca’s young filmmaker boyfriend (Michael Stahl-David) visit Judith's one-bedroom condo in Pensacola, Florida. Click below to see Danner, Parker, Stahl-David, Zoe Levin, Ali Marsh and Nilaja Sun as they take a break from rehearsals to give a preview of their show, then catch them in The Commons of Pensacola, beginning performances October 22 at New York City Center Stage I!
