Everything's coming up roses for Tony and Emmy winner Bebe Neuwirth and her husband Chris Calkins, who are ready to show off their funny and touching short film Jerome's Bouquet to the masses. The film follows the escapades of 82-year-old Elena Klein, a retired New York florist who can't stop arranging for her own entertainment—only it's people's lives she's sprucing up, not flowers. On October 2, Neuwirth, who also served as the film's casting director and costume designer, and Calkins, in conjunction with The Actors' Fund, held a screening of the film at the Tribeca Film Center in New York City. Broadway.com Editor-in-Chief Paul Wontorek moderated a post-screening conversation with the newly minted independent filmmakers and the film's cast, including Suzanne Shepherd, Peter Scolari, Tracy Shayne, Linda Gabler and Halley Wegryn Gross.
