The courtroom was packed on October 20, when Sebastian Arcelus, Patrick Page and the cast of A Time to Kill celebrated their official opening night on Broadway. The new stage adaptation of John Grisham’s bestselling novel features Arcelus as an idealistic young lawyer who agrees to represent Carl Lee Hailey (played by John Douglas Thompson), a man who took the law into his own hands when a harrowing crime is committed against his daughter. After a verdict came in on stage at the Golden Theatre, Grisham, Arcelus, Page, Thompson, playwright Rupert Holmes, director Ethan McSweeny, stars Fred Dalton Thompson, Ashley Williams, Tonya Pinkins and more headed to the Bryant Park Grill for a post-show soiree.
