Hunky Shakespearean headliner Orlando Bloom, who is currently starring on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, and his wife, Miranda Kerr, have ended their marriage after three years, according to People.com.
The pair released a joint statement saying, “They have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
The British actor and the Australian model began dating in 2007, they married in July 2010 and had their son, Flynn, in January 2011.
Bloom made his Broadway debut as Romeo opposite two-time Tony nominee Condola Rashad as Juliet in the new production of Romeo and Juliet, which continues to play at Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre. Kerr was on hand to cheer Bloom on opening night of the show on September 19.
