Broadway leading lady and former Smash star Megan Hilty had her very own “honeymoon in Vegas” this weekend: Hilty and actor Brian Gallagher tied the knot on November 3 at the Venetian Hotel, according to the actress’ Twitter feed, which also included this photo of the happy newlyweds.
“I married the love if [sic] my life tonight at The Venetian Chapel in Las Vegas!!!!!” Hilty wrote, adding the hashtag #HeLikedItSoHePutaRingOnIt. The football-loving groom confirmed “WE DID IT!!!” with a hashtag #justmarried, but he also found time to follow his favorite team's victory over the New Orleans Saints, writing, “I got married AND the Jets won! It’s been a perfect weekend!!!” (Glad he listed the wedding first!)
According to People.com, Hilty wore a Badgley Mischka wedding gown, and Gallagher wore J Lindeberg. The 33-year-old groom and 32-year-old bride are scheduled to perform together at the Catalina Jazz Club in L.A. later this month.
Hilty is currently a cast member on NBC’s Sean Saves the World. She has appeared on Broadway in 9 to 5 and Wicked and starred in the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Gallagher appeared on Broadway in last seaon’s revival of Jekyll & Hyde and off-Broadway in The Awesome 80s Prom.
