Hedwig Field Trip! Neil Patrick Harris & John Cameron Mitchell Visit Jinkx Monsoon in The Vaudevillians

Hedwig and the Angry Inch star Neil Patrick Harris is new to this whole drag thing, but don’t worry—book writer and original star John Cameron Mitchell and composer Stephen Trask have found the perfect place to take him for some serious research. The trio took a dragalicious field trip to the Laurie Beechman Theatre to catch Drag Race champion Jinkx Monsoon and her trusty sidekick Major Scales in their hit show The Vaudevillians, which has been extended a whopping six times off-Broadway. After the hilarious show, the Hedwig clan went backstage to hang out with Monsoon, who is no stranger to the role NPH is bringing to Broadway—Monsoon is set to portray Hedwig at Seattle’s Moore Theatre from December 17 through 22. We’re hoping Harris had a long chat with Monsoon about foundation, eyebrows, glitter, and of course, "angry inch" tucking.
