The new musical The Last Ship, featuring an original score by Sting, won't sail to Broadway (after its world premiere engagement in Chicago) until the fall of 2014, but the 16-time Grammy winner is already out and about promoting the new show. On November 4, Sting stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to preview The Last Ship. "It's really about what happened to my community when the ship-building industry closed down." Sting also revealed that he played his mother's show tunes records "to death" as a child. His favorite musical? Carousel! Listen to Sting flawlessly warble a little "(When I Marry) Mister Snow" and talk about his new musical in the clip below!
