After the success of last year’s inaugural event, producer and host Scott Nevins has rounded up the best and brightest from Broadway and televison, including Rachelle Rak, Lesli Margherita and Charl Brown, to kick off the holiday season with another star-studded Sparkle concert at XL Cabaret. The one-night-only event on December 1 raises money to benefit the programs and services provided by the Actors Fund.
In addition to Broadway.com video bloggers Rak (Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, Flashdance), Margherita (Matilda) and Brown (Motown), Sparkle: An All-Star Holiday Concert includes appearances by Tony winner Melba Moore (Hair, Purlie), Telly Leung (Godspell, Glee), Tituss Burgess (Guys and Dolls, The Little Mermaid), Shayna Steele (Hairspray), Erin Quill (Avenue Q), Brandi Massey (Wicked), Julie Garnye, Kelly King, Natalie Douglas and America’s Got Talent’s The Glamazons.
