The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and Cherry Lane Theatre's co-production of Pulitzer Prize winner Charles Fuller's One Night... begins performances on November 6. Directed by Clinton Turner Davis, the drama will play through December 15 at off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre, with an official opening night set for November 20.
One Night... takes an unflinching look at what is happening to women in the U.S. Armed Forces when their decision to serve exposes them to an unforeseen battle against their fellow soldiers. The play explores the lingering effects of trauma, injustice, and one woman’s recompense. The cast includes Rutina Wesley, Grantham Coleman, K.K. Moggie, Matthew Montelongo and Cortez Nance Jr.
The creative team for One Night... includes scenic design by John McDermott, costume design by Jessica Jahn, lighting design is by Nicole Pearce, sound design is by Sean O’Halloran and video design is by Gil Sperling.
