The Broadway casts of Cinderella, starring Tony nominee Laura Osnes and Rebecca Luker, A Night with Janis Joplin, starring Mary Bridget Davies and First Date, starring Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez, are set to perform on CBS’ Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will air live on November 28.
Osnes and Luker will be performing the crowd-favorite tune “Impossible/It's Possible” from the Tony-nominated musical revival, and Davies will perform Joplin's rock classic “Me & Bobby McGee.” Levi and Rodriguez will be joined by First Date cast members Kristoffer Cusick, Kate Loprest, Vicki Noon and Bryce Ryness, and will be performing the songs “The One” and “Something That Will Last” from the musical comedy. First Date will end its six-month run at the Longacre Theatre on January 5, 2014.
Viewers hoping to catch all the Broadway fun on Thanksgiving morning should double check their DVR schedule: The CBS parade is a seperate broadcast from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will air on NBC and feature performances from the casts of Pippin, Kinky Boots, Motown The Musical and Matilda.
