Author, comedian, Daily Show correspondent and Apple commercial star John Hodgman will debut his solo show John Hodgman: I Stole Your Dad at the Public Theater's upcoming Under the Radar Festival. In its tenth season, the annual program of experimental works will run from January 8, 2014 through 19 at the acclaimed off-Broadway theater.
In I Stole Your Dad, Hodgman will present observations on subjects including how to dress like a young and relevant person, fax machines and other obsolete technology, marijuana and Downton Abbey, the state songs of Tennessee, the film criticism of Ayn Rand, and how to spend your time when the world did not end like you were certain it would on December 21 of last year.
Hodgman is best known for his personification of a PC in Apple's "Get a Mac" advertising campaign, and for his correspondent work on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He is also the bestelling author of The Areas of My Expertise, More Information Than You Require and That Is All. Hodgman's film and TV credits include Flight of the Conchords, Battlestar Galactica, The Venture Bros., Baby Mama, Coraline, The Invention of Lying and his Netflix comedy special John Hodgman: Ragnarok.
