Broadway darling Sutton Foster is headed back to the small screen as the star of the new TV Land pilot Younger, written and produced by Sex and the City creator Darren Star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy will feature Foster as a New Jersey divorced single mother in her early 40s who kickstarts her career by passing herself off as a 20-something, landing a hot job at a New York City publishing company. Younger is based on the novel of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran.
Foster, the winner of two Tony Awards for her work in the musical comedies Thoroughly Modern Millie and Anything Goes, is set to return to Broadway in March in Violet. She was previously seen on the ABC Family drama Bunheads, which was canceled earlier this year following a one-season run.
