A new play by Conor McPherson is always an event, and the Irish-born playwright’s latest drama about Dublin strivers, The Night Alive, has landed at Atlantic Theater Company after an acclaimed run at London’s Donmar Warehouse. Set in the squalid living room of a handyman named Tommy (Ciaran Hinds), the play features Tony winner Jim Norton and is directed by McPherson. After an opening night performance on December 12, the company gathered at Il Bastardo to celebrate. Click through to see who was there, then head off-Broadway to see The Night Alive!
