Broadway Vet Dan Stevens Will Watch Downton Abbey With Us!

Stars – they’re just like us. Well at least when it comes to watching PBS-favorite Downton Abbey. Broadway vet and former upstairs Downton resident Dan Stevens said he’ll be watching along with the rest of us when season four premieres, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stevens, who played Matthew Crawley (RIP!), the husband to Lady Mary said, “I have absolutely no idea what becomes of Mary because I want to watch it with the American audience—it will be fun. After all, I live in Brooklyn now." 

Downton Abbey returns this Sunday, January 5, with the series featuring stage favorites Dame Maggie Smith and Shirley MacLaine. Relive some of Matthew and Mary's most romantic moments below and please pass the tissues!
