Oh, Mama! Tony Winner Scarlett Johansson Is Expecting Her First Child

Maggie the Cat is going to have a kitten! Tony winner Scarlett Johansson, who last appeared on Broadway as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, is expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, according to E! The couple confirmed their engagement six months ago.

Broadway.com asked ScarJo if she wanted any “no-neck monsters” of her own during the run of the Tennessee Williams revival. Johansson replied, “If my no-neck monsters could be anything like the kids in the show, I’d be thrilled.”

The actress earned a Tony Award for her Broadway debut performance in A View From the Bridge. A four-time Golden Globe nominee, her film and TV credits include Lost in Translation, Hitchcock, Don Jon, Under the Skin, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Match Point, The Nanny Diaries, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Other Boleyn Girl, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Avengers, The Prestige, The Island, Ghost World, Don Jon and 2014 Best Picture nominee Her. Dauriac is the former editor of the French magazine Clark.
