Turning 30 doesn’t have to be scary, as long as you’re singing your way through it. Former Hair hippies Allison Case and Andrew Kober will perform their new show This Is 30 at The Cutting Room on April 7.
This Is 30 explores the excitement and fear that comes as the milestone birthday approaches for both "Case and Kobes." Friends are getting married and having babies. It’s too late to do Spring Awakening. Suddenly listening to NPR is a more appealing Sunday morning than waking up with a hangover. The show will feature a mix of musical theatre and pop/rock tunes, covering artists from Sara Bareilles to Queen.
Case most recently appeared on Broadway in Hands on a Hardbody. Her additional Broadway credits include Mamma Mia!. Kober, who is currently joining in the crusade at the Imperial Theatre in Les Miserables, appeared alongside Case in the Tony-winning revival of Hair at the Delacorte Theatre, on Broadway and in the West End.
