Oh, so she's not joining the Rockettes? Idina Menzel will leave Elizabeth’s multiple personalities behind at the Richard Rodgers Theatre to bring a one-night-only concert to Radio City Music Hall. The Tony winner, hot off the heels of receiving a Tony nomination for her performance in If/Then and landing on the cover of Variety, will perform Idina Menzel: Live at Radio City at the iconic New York landmark on June 16.
This marks Menzel's first time performing at Radio City Music Hall. Audiences can expect to see her perform some classic pop, musical theater favorites and her own personal catalogue. We assume that includes a certain Oscar-winning tune from Frozen.
Menzel received a Tony Award for her portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked, and has also appeared on Broadway in Aida and Rent. In addition to letting it go in Frozen and not letting people read her “Poker Face” on Glee, her screen credits include Enchanted and the film adaptation of Rent.
