Knights, Kings & Tunes! Get a First Look at Alan Menken's New Musical Comedy Series Galavant

Start smoking your turkey legs, because Galavant is coming to ABC! The musical comedy series, which is written by Dan Fogelman and features music by Oscar winner and Aladdin Tony nominee Alan Menken with lyrics by Glenn Slater, was recently picked up by the network. According to The Wire, ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee referred to the series in his upfront presentation as “literally Spamalot meets Princess Bride,” and after taking a look at the series’ first trailer, we don't disagree.
