Bridges of Madison County alum Steven Pasquale has landed his first gig since the tuner’s premature shuttering on the Great White Way. He will feature alongside the previously reported Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz in an upcoming Netflix psychological thriller drama. According to Deadline, Pasquale will have a recurring role as a potential romantic interest for Linda Cardellini’s character in the 13-episode, yet to be named, series from Damages creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler.
Pasquale tweeted about the news: “Sweet wonderful tweeps. It's just a small part. A re occurring character. I'm holding out for a musical. I promise!...But baby needs milk.”
We hope he’s back on the Great White Way soon! As well as Bridges, in which he starred opposite Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara, Pasquale has appeared on Broadway in Reasons to Be Pretty and off-Broadway in Fat Pig, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide... and A Soldier's Play. He was the star of NBC's short-lived drama Do No Harm, and for seven seasons he starred as Sean Garrity on FX’s Rescue Me.
