The Oscar winner, along with Bryn Terfel, will appear on PBS' Live from Lincoln Center tonight, September 26, in New York Philharmonic’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Tony Winner Michael Grandage's Debut Film to Star Jude Law, Laura Linney & More Stage Vets
We’re getting excited about renowned theater director Michael Grandage’s debut film already. Variety reports that stage and screen stars Jude Law, Laura Linney, Nicole Kidman, Dominic West, Guy Pearce and Colin Firth will all appear in Genius. Based on A. Scott Berg’s book, the script has been adapted by playwright and screenwriter John Logan and follows the true story of the relationship between distinguished editor Max Perkins and literary legend Thomas Wolfe. Broadway buffs will note that both Grandage and Logan won Tonys when they collaborated on Red. The movie will begin filming in October. Too soon to start predicting the 2016 Oscar race?

Jason Robert Brown & Kelli O'Hara Talk Bridges' Beginnings
This is fascinating. Listen below as Jason Robert Brown talks about his Tony-winning score to A Bridges of Madison County and how Kelli O'Hara came to star in the show. The composer calls his former leading lady the "most expressive voice and most versatile performer in musical theater," while O'Hara reveals that the music "fell right into my heart." Ours too.
