Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today.
Shia LaBeouf 'Whacked' Alan Cumming
Shia LaBeouf has recently been busy explaining his eventful night out at Broadway’ Cabaret in June; now the show's star, Alan Cumming, has revealed how the drama played out from his perspective. Stopping by Conan on October 20, below, the Tony winner said about LaBeouf: "He whacked me." However the Kit Kat Klub Emcee was also forgiving about the incident. "We've all done things where we've been out of it and messed up and not everyone has to deal with it on such a worldwide scale." Catch Cumming, the sexiest man LaBeouf has ever seen, at Studio 54 through March 29, 2015.
NPH is Officially Fascinating
Between winning a Tony award, emceeing the Tonys four times and the Emmys twice, releasing Choose Your Autobiography, directing his hubby (and others), starring on How I Met Your Mother for nine seasons, doing magic and being a Dad, we already knew that Neil Patrick Harris was fascinating. But now, with the news that the star will host the 2015 Oscars, comes a big accolade that means everyone will be aware of the fact. Harris has been named one of Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of the year. According to Deadline, the former Hedwig will appear alongside big names including Tony winner Scarlett Johansson and (maybe Broadway headliner) Oprah Winfrey on the December 14 ABC broadcast.
We're Getting Jennifer Hudson a Dog
Jennifer Hudson has reiterated, for the umpteenth time, that she’d like to tread the boards, stating: "I would love to do television and theater." Hudson also told People: “I got a dog and named it Oscar, and then I won my Oscar. And then I got a dog and named it Grammy, and then I won my Grammy." We're seriously considering sending her a dog named Tony.
