Emma Stone has been opening up about stepping into the iconic role of Sally Bowles—and turns out she’s been practicing Cabaret’s title song for some time. “I’ve been singing it in my bedroom or in my head for 16 years,” she told the Wall Street Journal. “I don’t really know yet where it will land or how it will all end up, but it’s just the coolest, coolest thing, and I’m really happy and excited.” We’re happy to see you on Broadway, too, Ms. Stone! The star begins performances at the Kit Kat Klub on November 11.

Mark Rylance is Spielberg's BFG
Three-time Tony winner Mark Rylance has been tapped by Steven Spielberg to lead his adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic children's novel The BFG. “As I witnessed on stage, Mark Rylance is a transformational actor,” said the legendary director in a statement. While we wait for a first look at Rylance's Big Friendly Giant, we've got his upcoming star turn in Wolf Hall on the small screen to look forward to.

Is Clinton, The Musical, Eyeing 2016 Run?
Since a certain former Secretary of State seems to be eyeing a 2016 run, it makes perfect sense for this show to as well! Tony Nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu) will play Hillary Rodham Clinton opposite Tony Nominee Alan Campbell (Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard) as WJ Clinton in a workshop of NYMT hit Clinton, The Musical. The industry-only presentation will take place on November 6 and 7 and also feature Duke LaFoon, two-time Emmy Winner Judy Gold, Kevin Zaks, Veronica Kuehn, Darren Bluestone, Josh Lamon and Kara Guy.
