Once Tony nominee and former How I Met Your Mother star Cristin Milioti’s new TV show A to Z has been canceled by NBC. According to Deadline, all the originally ordered 13-episodes will air, but the series won’t be renewed. Come back to Broadway, Cristin, we miss you!
Uma Thurman Replaces Mary Louise-Parker in The Slap
Oscar nominee—and Smash star—Uma Thurman has stepped in for Mary Louise-Parker in NBC’s miniseries The Slap. Variety reports that the switch happened because Parker is getting over pneumonia. We wish the Tony winner a speedy recovery.
Kathleen & Rob Marshall's Family Affair
Forget about rivalry between these siblings! The New York Pops will celebrate its 32nd birthday on May 4, 2015, with a gala evening honoring three-time Tony-winning director-choreographer Kathleen Marshall and her big brother, Oscar-nominated director-choreographer Rob Marshall. The lineup of stage and screen stars for the Carnegie Hall concert will be announced later. Music direction will be by Steven Reineke.
