Sarah Paulson Talks Singing on AHS
If you're turned off by American Horror Story because of its horror element, we promise you that this clip is safe to watch. Unless you have a phobia of Jessica Lange in a powder blue pantsuit singing a David Bowie classic while being wheeled in on a cardboard rocket ship. Have a watch below as Broadway vets Lange, Sarah Paulson and more discuss bringing those crazy anachronistic musical numbers to Freak Show. "It was the scariest thing I've ever done in my life," says Paulson, of having to learn not only how to sing, but also how to harmonize with herself as conjoined sisters Bette and Dot. "And I've done a lot of scary things on this show." You mean like “The Name Game?"
Annie Sequel Eyeing Broadway
Annie lyricist Matin Charmin has hopes that a sequel to the classic tuner, Annie Warbucks, may still come to the Great White Way. "I was thinking it might be a kind of Nicholas Nickleby," he revealed to the Chicago Tribune. "On Monday night you'd see Annie. On Tuesday, you'd see Annie Warbucks. Maybe you'd have to buy the pair!” Annie Warbucks was a hit off-Broadway back in the day—the tuner opened on August 9, 1993 and ran for 200 performances. Who knows? Maybe the upcoming movie remake of Annie will aid Annie Warbucks' Great White Way ambitions.

Quast made his New York stage debut in the role in the New York Philharmonic’s semi-staged production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s classic earlier this year.
