Bobby Moynihan's Sweet Support of Brynn O'Malley
Saturday Night Live’s Bobby Moynihan wins the most adorable boyfriend of the weekend award. In the final credits of the November 15 episode, pictured below, he donned a Honeymoon in Vegas t-shirt in support of his girlfriend and Broadway.com vlogger Brynn O’Malley, who stars in the new tuner. We're sure Moynihan will be cheering along in person when Jason Robert Brown and Andrew Bergman’s musical begins previews at the Nederlander Theatre on November 18.
B'way-Bound Shows Make Evening Standard Awards Shortlist
The shortlist for the 60th London Evening Standard awards has been announced. In the Best Actor category, Ben Miles is nominated for his Broadway-bound performance in Wolf Hall. Meanwhile, in the Best Play category, King Charles III, which is heading to the Great White Way this season pending theater availability, made the cut. There's an interesting race for Best Musical, where New York favorites Here Lies Love and The Scottsboro Boys are among the shows battling it out. It's also clear that Broadway fans have something to look forward to with Skylight, which begins previews at the Golden Theatre on March 16, 2015—it picked up two nods for its London run, for Best Director for Stephen Daldry and Emerging Talent for Matthew Beard.
